Foundation Shamanic Crystal and Seashell Energy Healer

This post is an extract from my course. I love tuning forks. When I first saw tuning forks I was a bit scared. I thought what on earth do they do, but there was a little part of me that was very intrigued. It took me learning sound healing to finally embrace the tuning forks, now I have a whole set. I love working on the chakras and sound is a great way to balance the chakras. The tuning forks come in frequencies that resonate with the chakras. The chakras are the energy centres that run from the feet to the Crown and that govern different emotions and aspects of our identity and lives. Even if chakras are not your thing tuning forks are great meditation tools. Tuning forks can also be used to assist with pain management and can be used for sound massage and acupressure. Sound acupressure is such a great modality.

512 hz is The higher octave of the C note 256 hz it is not included in the above picture but completes the harmonics set and is shown in the below picture.

The number of Hz Herts describes the speed at which the tuning fork vibrates per second. The lower the Hz the lower the tone so 256 Hz is a lower tone than the 480 Hz. The scale above follows the scale of ‘do re mi fa so la ti do’ that is used in vocal training and singing.

I am including information on using the tuning forks for a vibrational harmonic massage and meditation because sound is an important factor of Shamanic healing. The tuning forks can assist in accessing the bodies own natural ability to heal and they can enrich crystal and seashell energy healing and create an altered state of consciousness. 

Below you can see the different areas of a tuning fork. To use the tuning fork you hold the stem and avoid touching the throat, shoulder or anywhere above the yoke of the tuning fork. If you touch the Tines or prongs of the fork once it has been activated this will immediately stop the sound so you have to avoid the throat or area above the stem.

Below is an image of the 256 hz, 288 hz, 320 hz, 341.3 hz, 384 hz, 426.7 hz, 480 hz and 512hz which is the Solar Harmonics Pythagorean scale.

Tuning forks come in different pitches and notes and range from 32 hz to 4096 hz. Tuning forks are used to tune musical instruments like pianos and guitars. Tuning forks are also used to assess hearing by doctors. Tuning forks are used by sound healers to bring the physical, emotional and mental body back into alignment. Water is a great conductor of sound waves and vibrations and the body is made up of at least 75% water. The sound waves and vibrations from a tuning fork are able to travel through the body and to go where they are needed. Tuning forks can help to release emotions related to past trauma and they can assist in releasing limited beliefs. You can also team breathework with the tuning forks. Sound healing can be used to assist in  mindfulness practises and staying in the present moment.

Weighted tuning forks can be used on the body to bring relaxation and to assist in pain management. Weighted tuning forks do not release a tone that is audible but they vibrate more than the unweighted tuning forks. Otto tuning forks are weighted tuning forks that come in 32 hz 64 hz and 128 hz. The pink tuning fork above is a 64 hz weighted tuning fork.

A 128 hz weighted tuning fork can be used for pain and stress. 128 hz weighted tuning fork can be placed on the sternum centre of the rib cage and the ribs and hip bones aswell as the acupressure points on the feet to stimulate energy flow and to ground and relax the client. You can also stem a weighted tuning fork on the thighs or pubic bone to give the client a root chakra vibrational massage by striking it and placing it on the body.

Tuning forks can spike Nitric Oxide production.  Nitric Oxide is a gas found in the blood vessels that has antimicrobial properties and anti inflammatory benefits that can aid in speeding up the healing and recovery process. Nitric Oxide assists in relaxation and promotes health.

Unweighted tuning forks can be used for sound healing and meditation as they release a clear musical note.  To play the weighted or unweighted tuning fork you strike the side of the tip against a rubber golf puck or a wooden striker with a rubber tip at the end. Many tuning forks come with the wooden striker mallets.

The Solfeggio scale

174 hz is said to be a tone that can be used to reduce pain and a weighted tuning fork in this frequency could be placed around areas where the client is suffering from pain. The tuning forks can be placed directly on muscles and joints and fleshy tissue. 174 hz can be used to ground and center the client.

285 hz influences the energy field and can be used to repair holes in the aura ant to unblock the chakras. 285 hz can also be used for physical healing, rejuvenation and tissue repair.

396 hz the sound Do or Doe colour Red is used for moving from grief to joy and can be used to liberate one from guilt and fear and to dissolve the shadow self. 396 hz works on the subconscious. 

417 hz the sound Re colour Orange can be used to remove negative energy and to rise above situations and to facilitate positive change and to undo negative patterns. 417 hz can also be used to release tension in stiff muscles and joints.

528 hz the sound Mi colour Yellow is used for transformation and miracles and to restore aid and repair DNA. This tuning fork can be used anywhere for anything. 528 hz can be used to assist in achieving emotional balance and to relieve anxiety. 

639 hz the sound Fa colour Green is used for relationships and connection to one’s spiritual family. 639 hz can be used to assist in strengthening and balancing relationships. 

741 hz the sound Sol colour Cyan Blue is used for self expression and solutions, cleaning the energetic body and expanding the mind. This tuning fork can be used to activate intuition and to tap jnto the souls truth. 741 hz is a detoxification frequency. 

852 hz the sound La colour Indigo is used to return to spiritual order and for intuition.

963 hz colour Purple  or Pink is used to assist in awakening to one’s original perfect state.

Other frequencies include

136.10 hz said to be the Ohm frequency Root chakra and Earth element frequency.

194.8 hz and 256hz are also Root chakra resonating frequencies.

210.42 hz Sacral chakra frequency

126.22 hz Solar Plexus frequency

136. 10 hz Heart frequency  and root chakra frequency

141.27  hz Throat frequency

222.22 hz Third Eye frequency

172.06 hz Crown frequency

There are also tuning forks that follow the Fibonacci pattern and Angel tuning forks that are higher tones. I use the Solar Harmonics Pythagorean tuning forks but you may resonate with a different scale of tuning forks. I also add different tuning forks from different sets depending on what I want them to do. I purchased the 128 Hz weighted tuning fork and 528 Hz tuning fork because of their benefits when used on the body. I also purchased the 4096 Hz tuning fork as it is in the Angel tuner category and it can be used to access higher dimensions and to clear crystals. 

The 4096 hz crystal tuner tuning fork can be used with a single pointed Clear Quartz crystal to create a focused beam of energy. Point the crystal at a part of the body then tap the tuning fork against the crystal to amplify the vibration passing through the crystal. Point the crystal at areas where there is pain and or the bottom of the feet, top of the head and forehead.

The tuning forks can be purchased that cover the musical notes C D E F G A B these notes also correspond with the chakras C being the root chakra and B being the crown chakra. You can purchase tuning fork sets or buy them individually. If you purchase them individually it is best to go for tuning forks in the same scale so that if you play them all in order they follow the musical scale however this is not necessary. When starting out the weighted 136.10 hz Ohm frequency and unweighted 528hz will give you a cost effective taste of tuning fork sound healing on and off the body.

The 136.10 hz weighted tuning fork can be used on the body to provide a vibrational massage. Rubber balls can be added to the ends to make placement on the body more comfortable.

Below you can see arrows and circles indicating areas that you can stem and vibrate a tuning fork on the body for a basic tuning fork balancing treatment.

 The weighted Otto 128 hz tuning fork can be used to activate the parasympathetic nervous system which is our rest and digest state which is necessary for the body to heal itself. The weighted 128 hz tuning fork is also beneficial for joint and muscle pain. You can team your tuning fork with crystals to amplify the effect of the crystal.

Weighted tuning forks can be placed along the central meridian at the front and either side of it. You can also stem the rest of the meridians and the joints, coccyx, centre of the palms, soles of the feet and top of the feet, around the ear and down the side of the neck. You can also work the tip of each finger and toe, the back of the knee and down each side of the spine.

You can hold the tuning fork and crystal in 1 hand or hold the crystal in one hand and use the other hand to place the tuning fork on top of the crystal after you have activated the tuning fork by hitting it against your activator. 

You could also lay cockle shells or scallop shells to move energy within in the body You can lay the cockle shells and scallop shells on the joints and stem acupressure points or the chakras. You can activate an unweighted tuning fork and direct the sound into the body as shown below. You can also use a tuning fork in the same way that you would use a feather or selenite wand to cleanse the aura by combing the aura with the sound of the activated unweighted tuning fork.

You can place balancing crystals, stones or seashells in the hands and a grounding crystal or stone at the feet.

Tuning forks C256 hz C512 hz G384 hz A440hz can be used to raise consciousness and to change brainwave frequency and promote healing and relaxation. 

C 256 hz and a G 384 hz tuning fork can be used together to create an altered state of consciousness and a deeply relaxing sound healing meditation. The C and G tuning forks can be used for health issues, emotional balancing, psychic repatterning and tuning the whole body.  Strike the C 256 hz tuning fork and G 384 hz tuning fork and place one at each ear of the client. Repeat this 3 times.

When listening to C256 hz and G384 hz tuners the ears will hear one harmonious tone that can balance the nervous system.  You can place crystals on the body and strike a tuning fork and place this on top of the crystal which will create a vibration and amplify the effects of the crystal.
