Your Venusian Goddess Upgrade With The Astrological Energies At Play April-May 2025

April is the month of Venus and we have just moved out of Venus Retrograde on March 22nd 2025. Venus was in Retrograde for 43 days. During the last 6 weeks I have been taking time to just notice what the Venus Star has been doing in the night. Over the past month or so I have noted it disappear from the Northern Hemisphere for 2 weeks and then appear in another direction as bright as ever. I have then seen the star head east ward disappear from my sight again and then now appear directly above us. This journey of the Venusian Star mirrors the energies on the planet, possibly affecting us on a vibratory and frequency level. Without doing too much reading into it until today I have naturally felt the need ro revamp my home and to really bring the beauty, vitality and love back into my home. The Venus energy is dancing not only in the sky but within our lives. The Venus energy is asking us to look around and to find where we can bring more beauty into our lives and relationships. On the 12th April Venus joined with the energy of Libra as she rose alongside the Pink Libra Full Moon as the Morning Star. Here she invites us to take action in creating the beauty we want to see in our lives, our homes and our relationships. For the next couple of days the Pink Libra Full Moon energy is still at play and it is a potent time to connect with people you love and to build beautiful heart felt moments.

The statistics for the proportion of clothes we actually wear out of our entire wardrobe would shock you and can be as low as 10% You can recreate your image with the clothes you already have deciding on a new look or a new style through shopping your own wardrobe. As March-April is pre summer it’s the perfect time to declutter your winter clothes and to get rid of anything you haven’t worn in the last year. Once you’ve decluttered your clothes you could also do your accessories too and then you will be able to see exactly what you have to play with. Next you can decide on a new look. It’s so easy to get stuck reaching for the same pieces to wear week on week but with a bit of experimentation you can create a whole new look. You can also do the same for your home. Remember at this time Venus is asking us to infuse our lives with love.

Wear symbols and objects found in the natural world, create your own clothing, jewellery or accessories, adapt your wardrobe to reflect your personality or mood. Wear clothing that reflects your ancestry to connect with them and to show love and reverence to them. Buy yourself a pretty item to wear, make getting dressed a Sacred ritual, incorporate a self love ritual into getting dressed. Wear clothing that makes you feel beautiful every day.

Your Home

Your home is your temple, and during this Venusian revival, it is a time to bring sacred practice into your home to raise the frequency of your home to one of joy love and peace. Start by identifying one room that feels stagnant or uninspiring. Over the weekend I have been busy painting the walls of my home white, I have purchased some lavender and geraniums for my garden and turned my kitchen into a gorgeous girly space. This is the perfect time to clear out clutter, open the windows, light incense or diffuse essential oils like rose, sandalwood, or violet leaf to refresh the energy. I painted a wall a pastel violet colour and brought sone cool girly accesories.Venus loves beauty and balance, so invite in harmony by rearranging furniture, adding fresh flowers, or displaying objects that bring you joy. I brought one of my Geranium plants inside to get to know the physical plant as I have only ever worked with the Essential Oil. It is such a delicate and beautiful flower and it reminds me that the Venus energy is beautiful and delicate aswel as strong and powerful.

Above is an image of my Geranium plant, I have one indoors and one out doors. Connect with the newness arriving in nature at this time the flowers, plants animals and wildlife and appreciate the beauty of nature.

This is the time to let your altar reflect your current desires. Include a rose quartz crystal, a candle, an image or symbol of the Star of Ishtar or Venus, and a handwritten note of your heart’s wishes. Venus also rules money, value, and wealth. This month is ideal for transforming your money mindset from fear or lack into love and appreciation.
