Summer, The Mother Archetype & Triple Goddess

The Summer Sun Connects To The Mother Archetype One Aspect Of The Triple Goddess:

As we move into Summer season we see the earth become rich in vibrancy with flowers and plants in full bloom. This magnetising energy is the energy of the mother archetype. You do not even need to be a mother or a woman to tap into this Mother archetypal energy. We all have Feminine and Masculine energies within us regardless of our gender. Summer calls for us to tap into the Feminine aspects of creation. Summer is a time of abundance, of enjoying the beauty of the earth. The mother archetype is a symbol of nurturing, fertility, and unconditional love. In many spiritual traditions, the Mother archetype is revered as a sacred and potent force, embodying the essence of creation and sustenance. The earth is producing during summer and this is a time for us to look to what we are producing in our lives and relationships. Taking the energy of the mother into our own being, Summer offers us the opportunity to be in creative production mode. We do not need to birth a child this summer we can birth our creations, we can revitalise the plans we made at the beginning of the year. In Summer the ground gets dry and the water dries out of the soil, we need to water the garden to keep it vibrant. This is a season for us to water our intentions, dreams and goals and to take massive action whilst energy is high.

The Mother Archetype and Summer: Just as the earth is teeming with life and vitality in summer, the Mother archetype represents the nurturing and life-giving aspects of the divine feminine. She is the embodiment of fertility, abundance, and compassion, offering sustenance to all living beings. We can bring this energy into our daily lives and feed and water our goals. Ask yourself what aspects of your dreams have become dry, how can you provide sustenance to those dreams? Without water we will not live very long a few days at most, so too without water our dreams shrivel up and die. What actions will be the water to your dreams?

The Mother Archetype associations: The Mother archetype is associated with the full moon, childbirth, and the ripeness of summer.

The Triple Goddess: Within the realm of goddess spirituality and mythology, the Mother archetype is often associated with the Triple Goddess of maiden, mother, and crone the mother is the archetype that embodies this time of year. This is a time of maturity, the frivolous and carefree spring and the energy of dreaming and planting seeds is gone until next year. This is a time to roll up our sleeves and take action in producing, creating, nurturing the flowers in our lives, the dreams, the plans the intentions. Summer is also the time of fertility a time to protect our dreams.

The Maiden: In her maiden aspect, the Goddess represents youth, innocence, and new beginnings. She dances through the fields of summer, her laughter echoing in the gentle breeze, her spirit untamed and free.

The Mother: As the Mother, the Goddess embodies the fullness of life and the power of creation. She nurtures and sustains, her arms open wide to embrace all who seek her solace and love. In summer, she blankets the earth with abundance, her warmth ripening the fruits of the land and the dreams of the heart.
