Rebirthing With The Story Of The Sun/Son Solstice, Sol Victus, Ra, Yeshua Jesus

The Sun plays a significant role in many spiritual traditions, marking key moments of the year with seasonal celebrations. These celebrations often align with astronomical events like solstices and equinoxes, where the Sun’s path through the sky marks a cycle of renewal, transformation, and spiritual rebirth. Here’s how these cycles are reflected in different traditions, especially in connection to the next 2 transitions of the sun Christmas and Easter:

The Sun’s Journey Through the Year

In many cultures, the Sun’s journey is charted through its changing position in the sky, which governs the rhythm of nature, agriculture, and spiritual practices. The journey of the Sun can be seen as a symbolic story of birth, death, and resurrection, with certain days marking key moments of this cycle.

Between the end of December and the beginning of February March the days begin to get lighter. The sun is rebirthed. This is an age old story that offers a way for us to take our own heroes journey through out the year. The Sun and Son represent the Hero who journeys to conquer evil and death and to resurrect as the risen Higher Self Divine being.

Ra’s journey in Egyptian Spirituality: Ra, the Sun god, is associated with the daily cycle of sunrise (birth), midday (full power), and sunset (death). Each night, Ra travels through the underworld (Duat) before being reborn each morning. The Winter Solstice is particularly significant as it marks Ra’s rebirth, representing the Sun’s return and the triumph of light over darkness.

Jesus is born on December 25th marking the birth of the Messiah Jesus, Yeshua, Yahusha whose name means Yah Saves in Hebrew Yah being the Creator YHWH Yahuah, Also later known as Yahovah, Yehovah, Yah, Jehovah. There was no J in the alphabet until only a few hundred years ago. Christ is also known as the Messiah, Maschiah the Anointed one. The story of Yeshuan in the gnostic texts signifies man’s journey to conquer the lower self and rise to be the Divine Soul embodied on earth. The son is born, masters life and ascends into Higher Consciousness back to its Source.

Below are 5 powerful rebirthing as a higher self deep shadow questions and 5 deep questions for the Higher Self:

Rebirthing as Higher Self – Deep Shadow Questions:

  1. What are the limiting beliefs or patterns I have been holding onto from past lifetimes or early experiences that no longer serve my soul’s highest purpose?
  2. What aspects of my ego or false self do I need to release to fully embody my authentic essence and soul mission?
  3. In what areas of my life do I still seek external validation or approval, and how can I learn to stand in my own truth and power?
  4. What fears or unresolved trauma have I been avoiding, and how can I begin to face and transmute them into wisdom and healing?
  5. What false identities or roles have I been playing out of fear or survival, and how can I release these to step into my true divine nature?

Deep Questions for the Higher Self:

  1. What is my soul’s deepest calling at this point in my life, and how can I begin to take aligned action toward it?
  2. How can I more deeply connect with my intuition and trust the guidance from my Higher Self, especially when I face doubt or uncertainty?
  3. What divine gifts and talents have I yet to fully uncover or activate, and how can I bring them into my life in service to others?
  4. What steps can I take today to embody more of my highest vibration and radiate that energy outward to benefit my world?
  5. How can I better align my choices, thoughts, and actions with the deepest truth of my soul to create the life I am meant to live?

Once we move through the Solstice Yuletide season we are heading towards Equinox.

The Spring Equinox corresponds to the journey of Ra becoming stronger as the days lengthen. It also corresponds to Yeshua battling and winning over death and darkness and rising ascending as a Light being having mastered the Ego and Principalities of darkness which can be seen as our shadows. Spring is the Resurrection of the son/Son.

On the Shortest day of the year we have equal hours of day and night and in the Winter we are then moving towards the return of more daylight. This marks the start of new beginnings with a whole year ahead to conquer our shadows and inner demons at the beginning of the year as we move towards our goals for the New Year. By Beltaine and Imbolc February to April we are planting our new seeds and resurrecting like the Phoenix and Christ to birth our new plans.

  • Sol Victus in Roman Tradition: The Sol Invictus festival, celebrated around December 25, honors the “Unconquered Sun” and marks the turning of the tide when the Sun’s strength increases after the Winter Solstice. This represents the Sun’s victory over the forces of darkness and the beginning of the Sun’s return to power.
  • Jesus and the Sun: In Christian tradition, Christmas marks Jesus’s birth and Easter represents the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ birth is when the sun begins to return between 20th December and 25th December. The Divine Masculine God is often connected with the Sun’s journey—Jesus’ crucifixion occurs around the time of the Spring Equinox, marking the balance of light and dark, and his resurrection represents the Sun’s return to full strength after the darkness of winter. The Passover (and the Last Supper) aligns with the Full Moon after the Spring Equinox, emphasizing themes of rebirth and renewal.

Celtic and Avalonian Spirituality

  • Spring Equinox: The Celtic Wheel of the Year is marked by eight festivals, with Ostara (Spring Equinox) being the closest equivalent to Easter. This festival celebrates the balance of light and dark and the fertility of the Earth as the Sun begins to grow stronger. In Avalonian tradition, this time is tied to the Goddess’s return to her maiden phase, symbolizing the rebirth of the Earth and the flourishing of new life.

Chinese and Indian Traditions

  • Chinese: The Chinese New Year often coincides with the Spring Equinox (though the specific date varies due to the lunar calendar) and marks the return of the Sun’s power after the winter. It is also linked to the Yin-Yang balance of the universe, with the Spring Equinox symbolizing the balance between the male (Yang) and female (Yin) energies.
  • Indian: The Makar Sankranti festival, occurring around January 14, celebrates the Sun’s transition into Capricorn, marking the end of the winter solstice and the return of longer days. This is seen as the Sun’s journey towards its exaltation point, and many celebrate it with festivals that honor the Sun, light, and life.

The Women Counterparts in Creation Stories

In many spiritual systems, the Sun is often accompanied by a female counterpart, reflecting the duality of the divine masculine and feminine energies.

  • Ra and Amenet: In Egyptian mythology, Ra is often paired with Amenet, his consort. Amenet is the goddess of the West and represents the nurturing and regenerative powers of the Sun as it sets, the twilight, and the hidden mysteries of life, similar to the nurturing aspect of the Earth.
  • Jesus and Mary Magdalene: In Christian esoteric traditions, Mary Magdalene is considered the sacred feminine counterpart to Jesus. While Jesus is the incarnate Word (Logos), Mary Magdalene represents the divine wisdom (Sophia). Their union is often seen as the merging of spiritual wisdom and incarnational light, symbolized by the resurrection of Jesus and the new life brought by the Sun’s rebirth in Easter.
  • Celtic and Avalonian Goddesses: The Triple Goddess in Celtic and Avalonian traditions is often connected to the lunar and solar cycles, where the Maiden (Spring) corresponds to the energy of the rising Sun, the Mother (Summer) with the full Sun, and the Crone (Autumn-Winter) with the waning Sun. These stages reflect the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth, much like the Sun’s own cycle.
  • Winter is the time to relax and reflect and enjoy the ending of the year.
  • This is the time to completely let go of all of the plans you had for 2024 and to get ready for a reset.
  • Clear out your homes and your diary and sit and be silent and tune into your internal self to find out what you really want for 2024.

What do you want for 2025? What do you want 2024 to be remembered for? What did you accomplish that you can give yourself a pat on the back for over the holiday period?

Now is the time for wrapping up 2024 and thinking about what you wanted to achieve for 2024 which goals you are closing out and which ones you are taking into 2025 with you. What are your stretch bigger goals and your milestones?

How can you honor the lightness and darkness within yourself embrace your shadow self and give it more love and freedom to be seen? How can you honor your Divine Masculine and Feminine self?

With the Divine Masculine think about what you want to do in 2025

Masculine = Action, intellect, energy, transformation, movement,

for the Divine Feminine think about what you want to be in 2025

Feminine = Being, intuition, receiving, attracting,
