The Shakti Kundalini Life Force

Let that just sit in your energy field for a moment. Does it trigger you? Does it intrigue you? Shakti Life Force Energy. With every word there is a connotation. What are you thinking when you think Shakti? My question is double loaded, like a gun. I’m on the Priestess Path so I get busted open sometimes, soemtimes its good and sometimes its a little messy. I swing forward, then swing back like a pendulum but this is truly one aspect that opens us up to “Triggers” I’ve been triggered and one of my Priestess mentors has been triggered by me. We triggered each other and then today in a Priestess initiation low and behold we are speaking of triggers. Shakti for my mentor brings up demons, along with snakes, the cut tongues shown by the image of Shakti the demoness. The evil side shudder. Shakti looks repulsive sometimes the tongue is split in two and she could be called up as a demon if you chose to but I don’t know why any body would. I think you can call on any name and contour up the demon version if you really wished to but really you have to seperate the stories given about the energies and look at it for what it is. So Shakti could be a Demon if you spent time calling up the version of the Divine that can cut off heads and trample on men but I dont know why you would do that unless you wish to just lay in the dark with the darkness. Shakti is a concept I am not a Hindu so I do not have the same attachments to Shakti as for someone who might worship Shakti and im not sure how that works. I look at the archetypes the energy. For me Shakti is the life force energy of the Divine Feminine she has 2 faces the one in the light and the one in the dark. If you work with Shakti energy the dark side is the shadow, the suppressed emotions, traumas, programming and ways of being inherieted through childhood amcestral patterns and possibly past lives. We work to clear these distortions and boy its some work. Shakti can be the destroyer she is both the Creatress and the Destroyer. When it is time to take something down you better believe she will burn it up, chop it to pieces devour it. She is meant to repulse you on sight of her like the crone with the ugly spot on the end of the nose, she repulses you yet her wisdom is golden. Shakti is the Dark and Light Goddess. shown sometimes as 3 goddesses in one with Parvati, Lakshmi and Saraswati. If we take them at face value we will never understand the wisdom of the Divine feminine, she is multifaceted, she transforms darkness into light by taking that in or working with it and Transforming or destroying it. Shakti your life force is your fire and charge it is not all love and Light it is the dark aspects that we spend our whole lives trying to avoid our triggers. Shakti is the aspects of self the Primordial self that we try so hard to suppress that she spills out in other ways in addictions, in emotions and so on.

In Hindu tradition, Shakti is the feminine energy responsible for creation, preservation, and transformation within the universe.

Shakti The Triple Goddess

The Triple Goddess, or Tridevi, comprises three principal goddesses:

  1. Saraswati: The goddess of wisdom, arts, and learning.
  2. Lakshmi: The goddess of wealth, prosperity, and beauty.
  3. Parvati: The goddess of love, fertility, and devotion.

Each of these deities represents a unique facet of Shakti, collectively embodying the complete spectrum of divine feminine power. This triad underscores the belief that the universe’s equilibrium relies on the harmonious interplay of knowledge, prosperity, and creative energy.

The Paradise Island of Lalitā

In esoteric texts, Lalitā Tripurasundarī is envisioned residing on a celestial paradise island, often referred to as Śrī Nagara. This island is depicted as a transcendent realm of bliss and beauty, symbolizing the ultimate state of spiritual enlightenment and unity with the divine. The descriptions of this paradise serve as metaphors for the aspirant’s journey towards self-realization and the experience of the divine within.

Shakti and the Universal Feminine Principle

The concept of Shakti extends beyond individual deities, representing the universal feminine principle that is both immanent and transcendent. She is the source of all energy, creativity, and fertility in the cosmos. In various traditions, Shakti is also associated with other manifestations, such as Kali, the fierce destroyer of evil, and Durga, the invincible warrior goddess, each highlighting different dimensions of the divine feminine power.
