So we’ve made it through the transformative months of March and now April is upon us. We have just moved through a series of profound astrological events that you may have felt as you navigated the first quarter of 2025. These celestial occurrences continuously invite us to shed outdated layers of our identity and embrace the emergence of our renewed selves.​

On March 14, 2025, a total lunar eclipse occurred at 23°57′ Virgo. Virgo, an earth sign ruled by Mercury, governs themes of service, meticulousness, and practicality. This eclipse illuminated areas where we may have been overly critical or entangled in the pursuit of perfection. It served as a cosmic prompt to release habits of over-functioning and self-criticism, encouraging us to embrace our authentic selves without the weight of unrealistic standards. ​

On March 29, 2025, a partial solar eclipse took place at 9° Aries. Aries, a fire sign ruled by Mars, embodies courage, initiative, and individuality. This eclipse acted as a catalyst for new beginnings, urging us to redefine our sense of self and assert our desires with renewed confidence. It marked the conclusion of the Aries-Libra eclipse cycle that began in April 2023, highlighting the evolution of our relationships and personal identities over the past two years. ​

For me this past month has been about evaluating my goals and whether they were actually what I wanted to do or what I thought I should do. I don’t know whether you too have been in deep reflection but as we move into the second quarter of 2025 we still have time to course correct to step onto the path of living life authentically. I’m guessing we’ve all heard of spring cleaning and now is still the best time to clear out the clutter from our homes, our relationships and our lives. I have gone through my outgoings looking at what I’m spending money on and whether those things are still in alignment with the version of myself that I am in the process of becoming. It’s a great exercise. I encourage you to take a critical look at your bank account, subscriptions etc and see if they have just been overlooked and whether you are actually using the services that you are paying for.

Look at your home, what’s hanging around that you haven’t used in the last 12 months?

What about your clothing?

What do you want to stop doing over the next 3 months? What do you want to start doing?

Ultimately this year is one big shedding and transformation.

What do you want to transform into?

What do you need to do to make the transformation happen?

Are you on track for your 2025 goals?

Do you need to adjust your plan? Or change the timescales?

When we are shedding, it can feel uncomfortable we might have to set up boundaries, make ourselves unavailable for certain things that no longer bring us joy or serve no purpose in our lives. We might have to part ways with some people or distance ourselves. We have one life to live and that life can get so filled with doing that we forget to just be, that’s why evaluating is so beneficial.

If you are an energy Healer, Lightworker or Spiritually focused being then like me you are susceptible to taking on other peoples energies and this too needs to be cleansed. In order to be the best version of yourself you need your energy to be your own, cleansing your energy and your aura is super important for energy Healers and lightworkers. This can be as simple as taking a salt water bath, cleansing with smoke or incense such as Copal, White Sage, Frankincense, Mugwort or Palo Santo or some form of resin. It can also be as simple as setting the Intention to have your Higher Self or God remove all energy from you that is not yours.

In the aftermath of these eclipses, we find ourselves in a liminal space—a threshold between the old and the new. This period is characterized by introspection and integration, as we reconcile the lessons learned and prepare to step into our transformed selves. The energies at play encourage us to honor this pause, allowing the recalibration of our inner landscapes.​

April 2025 is a time of new beginnings of fresh starts of seeing the seeds that you planted at the beginning of the year beginning to sprout. Nature is coming alive again, the flowers are starting to open and colour is coming back into the natural world. How can you bring more colour and vibrancy back into your life this month?

April sees both Mercury and Venus stationing directly in Pisces and later transitioning into Aries. These movements inspire us to take decisive action based on the internal shifts experienced during their retrogrades. Notably, on April 12, a potent Full Moon in Libra brings relationships into focus, emphasizing the need for balance and authentic connection.

The energies of Virgo and Aries, teamed with the energies of the Wood Snake, beckon us to:

​Release self-imposed limitations and the pursuit of unattainable perfection.​

Embrace our individuality and assert our authentic desires.​

Its time to take the insight and knowledge we gained through going within and use it to establish the course that we will take for the next quarter and the rest of the year. We are being called to be true to ourselves, to redefine who we are and to act with courage and confidence that we develop and foster within to rebirth as our true selves. This is a time to evolve our identity and to allow what is deep within our soul and hearts to be expressed authentically focusing on our goals and desires and spending less time on what others are doing unless it aligns with where we want to go. All that aside what I am really learning this year is to be embrace and love the life I have as I work to improve and refine it.
